Itziar specializes in business law, with extensive experience in the areas of corporate and contract law, mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions. Prior to joining PBP Abogados, she was an associate at Rangel y Barrita S.C. and previously, she worked as an intern and associate at prestigious law firms where she acquired experience in civil, commercial and administrative litigation, as well as in industrial property and copyright matters. In 2011 she obtained her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

• She has participated in several mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions, as well as in transactions related to foreign investment in Mexico.
• She has served as legal advisor to important private equity investment funds in the country.
• She has participated in the negotiation and execution of several underwriting and shareholder agreements with respect to relevant companies in the technology and food industry sectors.
• She has acted as legal advisor in several investment transactions in relevant companies in the aforementioned sectors.
