Rafael specializes in corporate criminal law, criminal litigation and amparo, as well as in the representation and defense of individuals and national and international companies. He is head of the risk analysis, corporate responsibility, crime prevention and compliance practice areas at PBP Abogados. Rafael holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a Master’s degree in Oral Trials and completed the program for CEOs at IPADE. He worked at the firms: López Velarde Heftye y Soria, González Calvillo, and Mendoza Morales Abogados. In 2006 he founded Rábago y Sosa, where he was a partner for 14 years.

- He currently represents one of the leading national infrastructure companies, several investment funds, as well as the world’s largest cargo ship company.

- He has represented national and foreign companies in different sectors: media, telecommunications, fintech, pharmaceuticals, maritime, land transportation and logistics.

- In criminal maritime law, he represents various shipowners and P&I Clubs, shipyards and shipping agencies.
